Experts suggest greater education and support is needed in introducing AI to Australian businesses with majority of workers still wary of its effects on their jobs.

Data released by worldwide technology company Zoho Corporation has shown 75 per cent of workers in Australian SMBs expect their jobs to be impacted due to more intelligent AI and machine learning, while businesses continue to explore the potential benefits of the technology.

Employees on the other hand are concerned with 46 per cent believing AI will be performing part of their role within the next five years. The survey also found that 53 per cent of SMBs feel they are adapting well to the technology however just 30 per cent are utilising it more than they were last year.
