Brentford boss Thomas Frank has said that the club is willing to sell goalkeeper David Raya amid interest from Arsenal.Raya has emerged as the subject of interest from Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal are said to be preparing an official bid for the shot-stopper, who has attracted interest from Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur as well. When asked why Raya was not in Brentford’s squad to face Aston Villa in a friendly and whether the goalkeeper was on his way out of the club, Frank told NBC Sports: Unfortunately, it’s not that easy. I hope [we get an offer]. We are waiting to sell. David would like to go. That’s fine for us.
“If a club want to buy [him], they just need to find out the price. So I guess it should be simple, but apparently, it’s very difficult.”
