Irish parents are lying in bed awake at night worried about how they will meet rising back to school costs for their children.

Lots of parents provided feedback in the survey to express just how worried they were about meeting the costs. Lone parents in particular were struggling.
They called for free school books to be extended to secondary school and implement low-cost uniform options such as iron-on crests.
