OPP seek person of interest in investigation.

Lennox and Addington OPP are asking for the public’s help to locate a person of interest.

On August 5, officers responded to a call about a man who approached a 12-year-old girl at a midway fair in Napanee, grabbed her arm, and attempted to lead her away from the midway. The young girl managed to slip away from the man and ran to the nearest people for safety. The man is described as around 50 years old, white, balding and overweight with short dark hair, approximately 5’10” tall, and wearing a black shirt with orange shorts.

Police are looking to speak to the man, and an investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lennox and Addington County OPP at
