Manchester United have received enquiries from a number of clubs interested in signing Mason Greenwood after confirming on Monday that the forward would be leaving Old Trafford.
But despite that finding United and Greenwood agreed it would be best to rebuild his career away from Old Trafford and the 21-year-old is now expected to leave either on loan or permanently.United's statement that Greenwood would depart landed at 3pm on Monday and they have since had expressions of interest from several clubs overseas, both in Europe and further afield, keen to do a deal for the forward, who hasn't played since January 2022.
In their statement United said they would "work with Mason" to find a new club and a loan move or a permanent transfer away both remain options at this stage, with the academy graduate having two years remaining on his contract.
