The Honduras international is set to make the move to Celtic Park during a busy end to the month for the Scottish champions.

Emilio Izaguirre has lifted the advice he issues to Aris winger Luis Palma to help convince him to join Celtic this summer.

Palma has previously been touted for a move to rivals Rangers, and agent Paulo Hernandez told Diez that the Ibrox side were initially "interested" but "this did not end up materialising" into an offer. But any chance of a switch to the blue half of Glasgow may have been curtailed by a chat with former Parkhead full-back Izaguirre.

In terms of outgoings, both Reo Hatate and Matt O'Riley have been touted with an exit. The Japan international has been touted with a switch to the Premier League and Saudi Pro League throughout the summer - with a report in France from Sports Zone stating a Ligue 1 side was monitoring him. He told Go Radio: "I don't think Celtic can allow any more first-team players to leave. That is no just because of the defensive crisis, I am talking about in general whether it's Hatate, O'Riley or Haksabanovic. I think you have got to keep these players."
