Leeds United midfielder Jack Jenkins has joined non-league Scunthorpe United on loan until January. In making the switch, Jenkins becomes the 12th player to leave Leeds on loan this season so far, dropping to the National League North in pursuit of game time.
Jenkins, then, will be hoping to help Scunthorpe build on that by stepping into Jimmy Dean’s side and helping to push them on as they look for promotion back to the National League. Of course, this isn’t Jenkins’ first loan spell, having spent last season on loan with League Two side Salford City. However, while he did manage to score for the Ammies on his debut, he went on to make just 11 appearances for the club after failing to work his way into the picture at the Peninsula Stadium.
