The former head of Bank of Ireland joined Credit Suisse a year ago

Francesca McDonagh, the former Bank of Ireland chief executive, is leaving her role at Credit Suisse, according to reports, having joined the firm a year ago as chief operations officer.McDonagh’s exit from the bank is expected to be announced this morning, according to a report in the Financial Times. The report added that she had agreed to join another company as CEO next January.

McDonagh held the top job at Bank of Ireland between 2017 and 2022. As she prepared to leave, she said it had been “a pleasure and a privilege” to hold the position.
