Cancelo sends transfer message to Man City and Barcelona

Joao Cancelo has hinted he wants to stay at Barcelona beyond his season-long loan from Manchester City.

A deadline day loan to Barcelona was agreed, with no purchase option, and Cancelo has started life in Catalonia with a goal in three appearances under Xavi. “I have to thank everyone at City, I’ve had the best moments of my career there so far, I had the chance to be in last year’s FIFA World XI, which was another dream for me.
