The baker's attorneys called it a victory, while the state attorney general said both sides "agreed it was not in anyone's best interest to move forward."

Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser and attorneys representing Jack Phillips said they mutually agreed to end two legal actions, including The agreement resolves every ongoing legal dispute between the owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop in suburban Denver and the state. Weiser's statement said it has no effect on the ability of the Denver attorney who filed a complaint with the Colorado Civil Rights Commission to pursue her own legal action.

Weeks later, the commission found probable cause that Phillips had discriminated against Scardina because she is transgender and ordered them to find a solution through mediation. Phillips then filed a federal lawsuit against the commission, citing his belief that gender"is given by God ... and cannot be chosen or changed."Both sides notified a federal judge on Tuesday that Phillips' lawsuit was being dropped and each party would pay for their own costs and attorney fees.

Notably, the state dropped the matter after it became clear that its enforcer-bureaucrats were still displaying the anti-religious bigotry that led to them losing their earlier case against Phillips.

Cake?

Give me a break NBC. It was a victory for Phillips. He could have sued and won but didn't because he isn't mean-spirited like the LGBT activists.

Good for Jack.

Ok. I have seen this picture in relation to this story for a while now. Why tf would somebody want him to create their cake? What he’s working on in this pic looks like shit.

If your religion tells you to hate others it is not a religion; just a doctrine of hatred that means nothing and should be eliminated.

Interpretation, AG is now wearing his ass for a hat.

Nobody wins when hatred is involved!

That cake looks like a 5 year old decorated it. He sucks

The LGBTQ mafia moves on.

If anyone needs a cake for a major life moment that a bigot wouldn’t approve of, message me. I may not be a professional baker, but this guy’s cakes look awful, so I can at least do better than that (minus the hypocrisy and judgement).

Oh, screw that guy.

The Rainbow Hand are the real bigots.

Good for the Baker!

Translation: CO state AG Phil Weiser knows he won't win the persecution effort against Mr. Philips. Congrats, Jack. This was well-earned.
