Who ever had the crazy idea that politicians were philanthropists?

An excellent article as always Matthew. Couldn't agree more about putting country before party and self interest. A TRUE leader would do the job but the ones we have are not up to the enormous task, not just now but with the negotiation on future trade. Worrying week ahead!

Blatant self interest is too often the only aim.
