President Joe Biden stumbled up the stairs on his way to give an energy speech in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Friday. The speech focused on the announcement of seven new hydrogen hubs and touted the"success" of his Bidenomics agenda.
The president appeared to lose his balance briefly when walking up a small set of stairs, but he caught himself on the railing. Friday's stumble also comes after he held a meeting with the American families who have members who are still missing in Israel. The administration believes less than a handful of the 14 missing Americans have been taken captive by the terrorist organization Hamas.The energy event comes as the president runs for reelection in 2024 despite fears about his mental acuity and age. Biden touted his administration's energy policies and the effects of his Bidenomics agenda at the event.
There were 23 finalists when it came to where those new hubs would be located, but seven states were selected. However, the seven bases have projects that will span across 16 states. Those projects will be based in California, Washington, Texas, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Illinois.
