Forest Hill police said Friday a person the department was seeking was found dead, multiple media outlets reported. Police did not say how or where the person died or how they were tied to the shooting. Their identity was not released.Forest Hill officers responded a little before 7 a.m. Wednesday to David K. Sellars Elementary School in the 4200 block of Dorsey Street and found a woman had been shot multiple times in the back parking lot, police said.
Following the shooting, Fort Worth ISD released a statement saying a tragic incident occurred that resulted in the death of a beloved staff member. Classes at the elementary school proceeded as scheduled, and Forest Hill police did not release any information on the shooting until a little after 5 p.m. Wednesday.on Thursday the department had identified a person of interest in the case and was looking to arrest him once evidence was processed. Police did not provide additional information.
