Jack Harrison's future at Leeds United has been a curious case long before his loan move to Everton was signed and sealed. The Whites winger had been linked with a move to Newcastle United last summer, but a number of bids were reportedly knocked back by the Elland Road hierarchy.

Dyche has suggested that at Villa and against Bournemouth - so Harrison’s two Everton starts - the player sought to override concerns from others about his fitness.
