The 2024 Nissan Leaf has become a little more affordable in the United States with confirmation that it can be eligible for a $3,750 federal EV tax credit. The car manufacturer has confirmed that the Leaf meets the ‘battery component’ requirements of the Inflation Reduction Act as it and its battery are assembled in Smyrna, Tennessee. This makes it eligible for a $3,750 tax credit. However, Nissan notes that models must be purchased and placed into service by December 31, 2023.
