Outdoor equipment retailer Kathmandu says its customers' credit card details and personal information may have been pillaged by hackers who broke into and monitored its website for over a month.

Kathmandu said it had since secured its website, and that its physical stores and wider IT environment were not affected by the breach."Kathmandu advises any customer who believes they may have been impacted to contact their banks or credit card providers and follow their recommended advice," the company said.
