Propel Funeral Partners receives multiple takeover offers

Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says Propel Funerals has attracted the attention of Australia’s industry super funds, with IFM Investors casting its eye over the business.

Propel made an ASX statement today saying it"received inbound interest regarding a potential change of control transaction from multiple parties". “Propel Funeral Partners, the second biggest business … operates in 183 locations in Australia and New Zealand,” Mr Greenwood said.“More compelling is the Propel share price higher today, but down over the year and now worth around $535 million.”
