Gustavo Scarpa’s agent will seek a return to Brazil for the Nottingham Forest midfielder at the end of the season, it has been claimed.
The 29-year-old has already been linked with a switch back to his homeland, with Flamengo, Fluminense and Palmeiras all said to be monitoring his situation. The latter seem the most likely destination and are said to have “priority” in any race for his signature. In the past, mixed reports have emerged about whether Scarpa would be happy to return to his homeland. Amid transfer rumours before his move to Olympiacos went through, he had suggested he was keen to stay in the UK.
