Police in South Australia allege that between 2015 and 2022, Robert Wayne Collins was acting in a position of trust when he was paid the money by several people.

Emergency warnings are in place for fires burning near Dalveen, The Glen, Silverwood, Cherry Gully ; Watsonville and Silver Valley in QLD.An 81-year-old Hackham man has been accused of stealing hundred of thousands of dollars from people who thought they were putting money into their superannuation funds and other investments.

Police allege that between August 2015 and March 2022, Mr Collins was acting in a position of trust when he was paid more than $913,000 by several people. The prosecutor said forensic accountants were still working through the matters, as part of work that was believed to have been ongoing for nine months, but that not all of the relevant bank statements had been received.The prosecutor said the matter was "quite complex" and that the forensic accountants would be primarily responsible for providing the evidence police required.
