Lieutenant Craig Cummings, spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety, held a press conference Saturday along with members of the Polk County Sheriff's Office to provide updates on the ongoing search for Audrey Cunningham, an 11-year-old girl who went missing on Thursday.
During the press conference, Lieutenant Cummings announced that Don Steven McDougal, 42, of Livingston, is currently the main person of interest in Audrey's disappearance. Lieutenant Cummings stated that while the investigation is ongoing, evidence suggests that foul play may be a factor in Audrey's disappearance. However, the primary focus remains on locating Audrey and bringing her home safely.
Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing investigation and adverse weather conditions, law enforcement officers and volunteers remain dedicated to finding Audrey.
