Users can now make toll payments at Penang Bridge using debit and credit cards. The implementation has been delayed but is now available on a trial basis.

PLUS has announced that users can now make toll payments at Penang Bridge using debit and credit cards. This implementation has been in the works for some time, with previous attempts being met with objections.

The support for debit and credit card payments was initially planned to go live in September 2023 but was delayed to the end of the year for further study. The announcement was made on 15 March, and users can now make payments on a trial basis.
