by Meteorologist Steve KnightAnother cold front will reinforce our Winter-like chill today with more windy conditions and highs in the low 40's. The coldest temperatures will arrive early Friday morning with temps falling to the mid 20's so protect the plants and the pets! Some increasing clouds late in the day on Friday before rain moves in overnight. It will be another raw and rainy Saturday with a steady rain by daybreak that will be heavy at times.
This is a Coastal Low that will be capable of bringing 2-3" of rain in some spots with the highest amounts coming in York, Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. The rain will wrap up from west to west between 2pm and 5pm, but plan for sloppy travel and ponding on the roads. Area creeks and streams will also have to be watched for potential minor flooding issues. Thankfully we can expect a drier day on Sunday with highs in the low 50s.
