Suspended Dauphin County Judge Sonya McKnight was in court for a preliminary hearing on Friday for her alleged involvement in a February 2024 shooting. Michael McCoy blind in one eye after suffering a gunshot wound to the head at his home in Susquehanna Township on Feb. 10. Cumberland County District Attorney Sean McCormack is overseeing the case due to conflicts of interest in Dauphin County and the PA Attorney General’s Office.

Suspended Dauphin County Judge Sonya McKnight appeared in court for a preliminary hearing regarding her alleged involvement in a shooting. Michael McCoy, who was shot in the head, testified that he did not shoot himself.

Cumberland County District Attorney Sean McCormack is overseeing the case due to conflicts of interest.
