The film 500 Days of Summer contains an iconic series of shots that split the screen down the middle and set the male protagonist’s expectations against reality. Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s character is visiting love interest Zooey Deschanel’s home for a party and, let’s just say, it doesn’t pan out the way he hopes.

As is the nature of a relegation season, there was very little love lost for any of those who left because they were responsible for the drop.
Tyler Adams, Max Wober and Luis Sinisterra did not leave Elland Road cleanly or with too much affection. Wilfried Gnonto’s representation was willing to burn every bridge the Italian had ever crossed to get him out of the Championship. Then later, in January, an impasse with Charlie Cresswell was made public by Farke and had to conclude.
This is, after all of the comings and goings, an excellent squad in the Championship. In any year, this collection of players should, absolutely, be gunning for automatic promotion, if not a comfortable play-off finish. That should not be forgotten.
