Shannon Beador is being sued by her ex, John Janssen, for $75k as he claims she borrowed the money for a facelift - but never repaid the loan.
He has accused Shannon of allegedly breaching their oral contract as well as promissory fraud due to not repaying him. In the court documents, he further claimed that both he and Beador agreed that she would pay him back the sum with interest. 'My attorney has been in constant communication with his counsel. I agreed to pay John what he wanted because I knew that attorneys fees would surpass the amount sought, but more importantly to eliminate the negative emotional components that come with a lawsuit.'Beador added, 'John declined the offer because he refused to sign a mutual non-disparagement agreement.'
John's own council also released a statement and shot down Shannon's claim that the $75k had been a 'gift' from Janssen. The two first crossed paths in November 2023 and went public the following month when they were seen holding hands during an outing in Newport Beach. She explained that she was hurt, 'because, No. 1, John said that he didn't want to be in the public eye, and he's thrust himself more into the public eye at this point. So, I'm quite confused about that.'
Shannon then questioned, 'I don't know how to process it. How many Orange County Housewives have there been? Is that your dating pool?'
