Bashir, son of Nasir el-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna, has criticised Uba Sani, his father’s successor, for his remarks on the “huge debt profile” he inherited.a debt burden of $587 million, N85 billion and 115 contractual liabilities from the el-Rufai administration.

Reacting to the governor’s statement, Bashir said Sani’s administration is suffering from incompetence and mismanagement.for “building a banquet hall for N7 billion” while complaining about his inability to pay salaries.
