Back in September of 2017, a sinkhole opened up under the family’s house.“I could hear things moving, like almost being dragged,” Strickey said. “I tried to be calm and cool, but eventually realized there was probably someone in our house.”
Initially optimistic that insurance would cover them, the family found out that their contents were covered, but not their home. As a legal battle continues to resolve the claim, the Strickeys are stuck paying the mortgage on a home that no longer exists.
Are they with TD ?
and so 'they' prove again. the ONLY time insurance is of any value is when we don't need to claim against it!
There needs to be nation wide sinkhole insurance. It happens far to often everywhere.
