Getafe manager Jose Bordalas says the club have not made a concrete decision about whether they would like to retain Mason Greenwood for next season.
United had previously stated that the 22-year-old would continue his career away from Old Trafford, although new co-owner Sir Jim Ratclife left the door open for his return. United concluded their own investigation in August, reaching the verdict that the player would not continue to play for the club. Greenwood - who has recorded eight goals and five assists in 30 Getafe matches - has just over 12 months left on his contract at United.
"We haven’t spoken about it yet,” he told Marca. “He’s in the same situation as the other loanees. When the season is over, it will be time to get down to work to see if Mason will be able to stay another year or not. It will depend on his club and the decision he makes."
