Adani Mining CEO Lucas Dow has called upon the Queensland Labor government to ‘stop moving the goal posts’ for the Adani mine approval, and to allow them to ‘get on with’ delivering jobs.

Speaking to Sky News, Mr Dow says Adani has attempted to meet with Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, as well as Deputy Premier and Treasurer Jackie Trad to discuss the mine but has been rebuffed. Mr Dow says Queenslanders are ‘screaming out’ for the 8250 jobs the mine will provide, and that 14,500 people have signed up to register their interest for a job. Image: News Corp Australia

Why should they discuss it with him personally? There are capable public servants handling the issue of approvals and recommendations .

OH OH the Government needs '''''' CAPTAIN GETUP'''''' TO THE RESCUE''''''' faster than that other former Liberal Party stooge James Ashby. Worked on Tim whoever he was's election for the libs they lost in Qld. Able to leap a sleeping Greenie Ha Ha Ha Ha The Libs are morons

far left climate change believing 'activists' want them to get renewable jobs, I am yet to see one of them apart from the washing of solar panels on solar farms or installing solar panels on homes which requires you to to a 4 year apprenticeship for an electrician

So he should be. Pay for your own rail & airstrips, pay for your environmental damage, pay royalties & taxes, pay for the 335bn litres of water you're planning to rip out of drought-ravaged QLD & then you can talk about the fact there are no jobs in an automated pit to port mine.

They will be in hiding. Shorten will probably send them on an around the world trip to investigate electric cars and recharging them seeing he didn’t know that himself.

Holding back employment for hundreds of people needing work. Shame on you Anna!
