Adani Mining CEO Lucas Dow has called upon the Queensland Labor government to ‘stop moving the goal posts’ for the Adani mine approval, and to allow them to ‘get on with’ delivering jobs.
Speaking to Sky News, Mr Dow says Adani has attempted to meet with Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, as well as Deputy Premier and Treasurer Jackie Trad to discuss the mine but has been rebuffed. Mr Dow says Queenslanders are ‘screaming out’ for the 8250 jobs the mine will provide, and that 14,500 people have signed up to register their interest for a job. Image: News Corp Australia
