As many college seniors get ready to walk across the stage and enter the professional world, buying a home isn't on their radar.

There are two reasons behind that. The first is simply the jump in home prices and the second is what it costs to finance a home. Mortgage rates have also gone up., 68.2% of fixed mortgage rates approved in Seattle had rates below seven percent with a median interest rate of 6.63% last year.
