Azarovi has won 18 caps for his country since his debut in 2021, scoring five times. He has also picked up some experience in European football, having featured in the Champions League for Shakhtar and in the Europa League for Red Star. The defender has already had a taste of Scottish football could entail, having played against Steve Clarke's national team in his nation's successful qualification campaign for Euro 2024. The 22-year-old was left on the bench for the 2-0 defeat in Hampden in June last year but came off the bench for the final 18 minutes in the entertaining 3-3 draw in Tbilisi last October.
