Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips could be offered a transfer lifeline with Everton reportedly exploring a loan move.

While City would prefer to sell Phillips, Everton's financial limitations and ongoing takeover means there is uncertainty over what budget will be available. With Amadou Onana expected to be sold to boost the club's budget, manager Sean Dyche is keen to find a player with presence in midfield and Premier League experience.
Phillips moved to City for a £45million fee back in the summer of 2022. However, he struggled to adapt and made just two league starts across 18 months at the Etihad Stadium.
