Max Wober insists he will make a decision on his Leeds United future after the European Championships is over. It is unclear where the defender will be plying his trade next year, with Wober having spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.
It is no secret Gladbach are keen to sign Wober on a full time basis. But according to reports in Germany, Gladbach may be priced out of a permanent deal for Wober. The 26-year-old, who still has three years left to run on his United deal, has been included in Ralf Rangnick's Austria squad for this summer's tournament. Wober says he has instructed his agent not to contact him until after Euro 2024, which gets under way on June 14.
Speaking to Austrian news outlet Kleine Zeitung, Wober added: "If you're in contact with the manager all the time, you automatically start thinking about it, start looking for an apartment, organize the move and talk to family and girlfriend about it. I just want to block it out and not worry about it."
