Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has declared he is at "the right club" and has shared the message he was given by departed Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
The 25-year-old contributed seven goals and seven assists despite spending more than half the season employed as a defensive midfielder before being pushed into a more accustomed advanced role.READ MORE: Arne Slot decision could open door for Curtis Jones change at Liverpool But in revealing the message he was given by Klopp before the German exited Anfield last month, Mac Allister effectively dismissed talk of leaving Liverpool this summer.
"On the field everything is different, because everything can be very nice outside, but you have to perform on the inside. I have had to play in various positions and I enjoyed it a lot, I am happy to be in a club as big as Liverpool."
