Manager Ange Postecoglou could be in the market for a central midfielder in the transfer window, meaning Skipp would slip further down the pecking order.
Leeds have strong midfield options in Ilia Gruev, Archie Gray, Glen Kamark and Ethan Ampadu, although the latter has been used primarily as a centre-back since arriving from Chelsea last summer. Bulgarian midfielder Gruev has also been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund, with the Bundesliga club said to exploring midfield options.
