Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, who had already proposed making college free, just vowed to scrap student loan debt.

— a 2% annual tax for families with more than $50 million. The plan would also spur an economic stimulus, Warren argues, that would increase home buying and create new businesses.Apple, Google, and Netflix don't require employees to have 4-year degrees, and this could soon become an industry norm

Warren proposes canceling $50,000 in student loan debt for every person with household income under $100,000, and phases out by $1 for every $3 of cancelation for incomes between $100,000 and $250,000. Warren says her plan to eliminate student debt would cost the government $640 billion. "We got into this crisis because state governments and the federal government decided that... they'd rather cut taxes for billionaires and giant corporations and offload the cost of higher education onto students and their families," Warren wrote."It's time to end that experiment."

And where is the money coming from?

Now I believe in Santa, the Tooth fairy, Leprechauns, Unicorns, but most of all Granny Warren, who is going to make everything free.

ewarren thank you!

Cut me a check for $50k while you're at it.

All this does is incentivize the schools to jack up tuition knowing that the govt will end up paying it. This isn’t the solution. Real reform needs to curb the cost of schooling.

When do I get my refund check for making reasonable, disciplined adult decisions that now see both my sons gainfully and professionally employed with zero student debt ?

And where's the money coming from there fauxcahantus, revenue from native American gaming casinos?

I’ll vote for her if she gets rid of my mortgage too. And maybe throw in a new riding lawnmower.

So what about those who paid off school already? Will we be getting compensation back for being financially responsible? I’m pretty sure i would’ve love to had spend my college funds on other expenses rather than paying off those bills. Answer that ewarren

Helb kenya should see this

Can I get all my payments back, plus interest?

Education is overrated. Better find a cheap course that offers knowledge that is immediately applicable in business and get further education from within the company, preferable on the bosses' expenses. You'll do much better than a Yale degree if you lack the old boys network.

These Democrat Liberals need 2 stop with this 'FREE 4 ALL' BULLSH*T because somebody HAS 2 PAY 4 EVERYTHING & NOTHING IS FREE W|O PAYING 4 IT!!! There is no such thing as Free!!!

What about their credit card debt? Let's wipe that too Lizzy!

By taxing you more, say good by to child tax credits, we gotta pay for illegals to go to college that live on the border.

That Indian is getting it done!

Promises promises promises!!! Might as well scrap payments for health insurance too. Why not control the border first? Be fair!

Can I get my $ back?

And while she’s at it. How about my Mortgage.

It's not enough. Let's impose the death penalty for student loan collections employees.

ewarren Typical kindergarten election platform. When U have absolutely NOTHING of substance 2 offer, start rolling out FREE stuff&harp over&over how U will give FREE stuff away by taking something from those who are successful.Draging others down rather than helping lift people up

Your bamaGod put this on the books, darling, you going to scrap his 'legacy'? So I get to pay for it?
