He underscored, however, the critical need for infrastructure to enable travelers to easily access tourist destinations and properties. “I mean we have great destinations that everyone knows about, but difficult to get to. So far as travel time is concerned, the rule of thumb is, you want to be one hour away from the nearest airport or the nearest city in travel time.”
Anya, he explained, can guide the partner property owner. “They can partner with us, we already have an established brand that translates to an established room rate, do it right, and the market will feel the value for money is there.”
