Emile Heskey would like to see Liverpool sign Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United, but pointed out the extra pressure the former Everton star would face at Anfield.

I like him a lot,” Heskey exclusively told the ECHO, speaking on behalf of 888sport. “I don’t know how it would work with him being ex-Everton, but he’s a fantastic player.
“For me, when Nick and Abel Xavier joined, it wasn’t a problem at all, welcoming these players in. As a player, as long as you know that they’re good and that they’re going to bring something to the team, you’re okay with it. Gordon scored 12 goals for the Magpies last season in an eye-catching first full season at St. James’ Park. And Heskey believes he would be capable of replacing Sadio Mane, who left the club two years ago, when it comes to returns in front of goal.
