DWP issues Universal Credit warning for anyone going on holiday this summer

If you've got a family holiday planned this summer, you might want to add something extra on your pre-holiday checklist. As well as checking your passport and buying insurance, make sure you know the rules around certain benefits.

The DWP has been clear that you’d be committing benefit fraud if you do not tell the office that pays your benefit you’re going abroad, even if it’s just for a short visit.
