A Dallas police officer shot and killed a suspect after a struggle overnight in the 2900 block of South Lancaster Road, police said.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington police are looking for a “person of interest” in a hit-and-run crash that led to the death of a 30-year-old man.

Cruces was found lying in the roadway and pronounced dead at the scene, police say. The driver of the Civic didn’t stop and drove away from the scene, according to police. Witnesses reported seeing the driver exit the vehicle and run southbound toward a nearby apartment complex, according to police.
