General Electric stock was up Friday, about 0.6%, weathering a negative report from bearish JP Morgan analyst Stephen Tusa regarding GE Capital.
Tusa wrote in a report on Friday that bullish investors shouldn’t forget about GE Capital when valuing General Electric stock. He believes the company’s lending unit will remain a cash drain in the future.
I still think Larry Culp can accomplish a turn around but I always stand by Buffets quote “when management with a reputation for brilliance tackles a business with a reputation for poor fundamental economics, it is the reputation of the business that remains intact”
