they would be introducing legislation to wipe out up to $50,000 in student loan debt each for 42 million Americans.

The release emphasized the ability of the legislation, which will be introduced in both Congressional chambers in coming weeks, to alleviate loan debt taken on by individuals of color.

This is great, really. But is there any chance I can get some of the money that I payed my loans off with back.

I'm tired of bailing out people who signed a contract.

What about TEACHERS who have been legitimately paying for 20 years, and have spent as much as they owe in their classrooms....but can’t get any of the loan forgiven because they consolidated right out of college for lower interest rates?
