In a joint statement with 10 other Tamil- and Chinese-interest groups, they said the education ministry should expound on its explanation that schoolchildren will not be tested on their khat-writing skills during exams despite the inclusion of the component in the Standard Curriculum and Assessment Document and syllabus.
“This is important to dissuade public concerns and doubts, as well as ensure that the implementation meets the needs of Chinese and Tamil primary school students,” he said.

It does not take a lot of effort to locate the syllabus online. If you want to know whether 'it meets the needs' of your students, be proactive, look it up and think for yourself. There is no need to make a scene by feigning ignorance.
