MANILA, Philippines — Rice farmers can now avail of a P15,000 loan assistance from government after the drop in local palay prices as an effect of the Rice Tariffication law.
“Yung sure aid program this is coming from the Department of Agriculture with the Agriculture Credit Policy Council at binigay po natin yung pondo sa Landbank at sila po yung magma-manage at mag-implementa,” Dar said in an interview with Radyo Inquirer 990 AM.
FMOrellanaINQ Not a long term solution. Mas kailangan nila ma streamline yung pagbebenta ng goods nila sa competitive price, tumataas na lahat ng bilihin maliban sa produkto nila. Tanggalin ang middle man para direkta silang makapagbenta sa market.
FMOrellanaINQ Loan assistance is not what they need, they need a good price to sell their rice. Bumagsak sobra ang presyo ng bentahan ng palay, wala na silang kikitain. This is a direct effect opening the market to imported rice. Kawawa nmn magsasaka natin
FMOrellanaINQ loan?15,000?kung tumagal to hanggang disyembre paano na?
FMOrellanaINQ this loan assistance could give more problems to farmers come paying time. any assistance should come in forms of subsidy to counter farm losses created by government via 'Rice Tarification Law'.
FMOrellanaINQ LOAN?! ibigay nyo nlng yan
FMOrellanaINQ Is 15K enough to support them? How about making their lives better? Ever thought about that?
FMOrellanaINQ Abolish rice tariffication law now! Baon na sa utang mga magsasaka tapos binabarat pa palay nila tapos solusyon nyo pa utang pa rin?
