is definitely one of our favorites. From the time we watched her as a little kid on, we've loved her adventurous spirit and spunky personality. In a family that is very dedicated to more traditional gender roles, Joy's never paid much mind to them -- instead, she played outside barefoot with the boys when she wanted to, and hung out inside with the girls when she wanted to. This lady has always marched to the beat of her own drum, and always with a smile on her face.
and a mom to her son, Gideon, and we're happy to see that she continues to do the things that she loves, like spending time outdoors, hanging out with her sisters, and being an actual ray of sunshine to everyone she meets. Joy's been through some tough stuff this year, but she always rises above and impresses us so much with her strength and persistence. Everything she tackles, she seems to be great at, and we've loved following along with her adventures all these years. There's never a dull moment for Joy, but that seems to be just the way she likes things.
Here are all the reasons Joy is one of our favorite members of the Duggar family. We love all of her sisters, and they're all so unique with their own personalities. But lately, it's totally been Joy's time to shine, and we hope things only keep getting better for her from here.
