Your money might as well earn money, right?

According to the FDIC, savings accounts at traditional banks are earning about 0.09% interest on average — pennies, for many people. Online banks, though, are able to offer higher rates on high-yield savings accounts, and I've loved my experience so far with CIT Bank. It offers 1.85% APY when you make a monthly deposit of at least $100. Not only is my money making money, CIT has great customer service and there are no fees to open up an account.

Farmers in Crisis Turn to High-Interest Loans as Banks Pull BackFinancial stress is mounting in the Farm Belt, pushing more growers to take on high-interest loans outside traditional banks to stay in business Really tired of the farmers articles. They voted for Trump. He screwed them. They overwhelmingly say they will vote for him again. They are getting what they so richly deserve. I was not, and never will be too big/sympathetic/symbolic to fail. Gotta make it in this world. Spiderweb economics with a libertarian rationale? I don't get it. This is fake news - the farmers are okay.
