The belief is Reynolds feels like there’s a good opportunity to have success with the Senators. Even if he’s not the majority owner, it would make sense for Reynolds to be involved with whoever purchases the majority share of the franchise. “Anybody interested in buying the team should pick up the phone and call Ryan Reynolds. I may be in the minority here, but I would welcome a new team name and logo with any new owner. The Roman soldiers helmet (Galea) has no Canadian connection; 'Roman Senators' didn't wear Galea; and although it's Ottawa 'senators' is basically 'the Ottawa Lawmakers'
