Adding a charge for using a credit card is straight up profiteering, unless the merchant was already doing it. Anyone with any business smarts has had credit card charges built into their pricing for years.

TELUS The only thing that goes against the consumer interest is the nickel and diming of your customers where the money is sure not going to Canadian employees! Your greedy scum! inflation telus Alberta ConsumerRights

I left Telus a couple of weeks ago because of this. Went to Rogers with the three lines for my family. This is an inflationary grab. Never going back to Telus.

Bravo.. Telus is another example of corporate greed in Canada.. TelecomMonopoly

Now, the phone service will cost us a couple of bucks more to administer our service, but it’s not a credit card service fee 😜
