Yellow Brick Road Home Loans Executive Chairman Mark Bouris says Australia could see a cut in interest rates next year.

“I think the RBA’s going to say, ‘look, inflation’s still not managed just because we have a bit of a scare overseas, we still haven’t managed inflation,” Mr Bouris told Sky News Australia. He said Australia will stay at 3.60 or 3.85 for a period of time just to “break the back of spending, and it’s quite resilient”.

“So I think it’s going to take like six to eight months to do that, then we should see rate reductions … I think sometime next year,” he said.

We already have too many vets. There is nothing stopping the Veterinary Association picking up the HECS tab. Problem with that is if that happens, then all graduates who are not veterinary will feel hard done by if their HECS debts are not dropped also..
