Indianapolis Metropolitan Police DepartmentAccording to IMPD, just before 11 p.m. June 22, officers responded to a report of the incident at the intersection of, near the Julia M. Carson Transit Center in downtown Indianapolis.
Officers detained a man as a"person of interest," and that the suspect was also taken to a local hospital to be checked out. According to IMPD, the suspect ran down Washington Street before he were detained, leading to several temporary road closures in the area.
